Media Law

This is law that regulates production and use of media which can encompass many different types contents. The practice of media law may involve all of the types of legal issues that might arise during the production or consumption of various types of media.

Compliance & Risk Management

In general, compliance means conforming to a rule, such as a specification, policy and standard or law this also meaning acting in accordance with a request or a command, rule or instruction/s.

Law of Delict

Engages primarily with “the circumstances in which one person can claim compensation from another for harm that has been suffered of an intentional or negligent breach of duty of care that inflicts loss or harm and which triggers legal liability for the wrongdoer.

Administrative Law

Is the body of law that governs the activities of administrative agencies of government. Government agency and or state organ action/s can include rule making, adjudication, or the enforcement of a specific regulatory agenda. This is considered a branch of public law.

Criminal Law

Criminal Law is based on common law, case law, and legislation. A crime is conduct which common or statute law prohibits and expressly or impliedly subjects to punishment remissible by the state alone and which the offender cannot avoid by his own act once he has been convicted.

Labour Law

This law contains analyses with regards to employment legislation and case law, exploring employer and employee rights, employment contracts, employment equity, retrenchments and dismissals. Collectively and Individually.

Family Law

Family law or matrimonial law incorporates family matters and domestic relationships such as marriage and civil unions, divorce and annulment, child custody and the best interests of the child, maintenance, child abuse and domestic violence.

Law of Contract

A contract is an agreement two or more parties enter into with the serious intention of creating a legal obligation. Contract law provides a legal framework within which persons can transact business and exchange resources, secure in the knowledge that the law will uphold their agreements and, if necessary, enforce them.

Access to justice

Is defined as “the ability of people to seek and obtain a remedy through formal or informal institutions of justice, and in conformity with human rights standards”.
